Will be back before we leave town !! ”
“ Joe(manager) and team which includes Jade(server) are awesome!! They made sure everything was straight and watching the Chicago Sky lose(smh) was available. Music was top notch the entire dine in! ”
“ Great BBQ! Favorite was the pulled pork & ribs - very tender & full of flavor. The sides were so good, too, solid mac n cheese. Surprise - the cole slaw was delicious! Our server Andrew was awesome :) ”
“ Delicious all you can eat brunch ! Endless monkey bread, hash browns, fruit cups, pancakes, sausage and bacon for 25 !? How can you beat that! Our server was fantastic! Shout out to Andrew for being so amazing - you rock! ”
“ Came in for happy hour & music bingo night, the server was friendly and attentive. Bingo was alright, disappointing that there is not much of a turn out for the event but that’s nothing the restaurant can control. I’ve been in before and really enjoyed their bbq trays. The wings were huge and very good, also enjoyed the onion ring appetizers with a variety of dipping sauces. ”
“ This place is great! They had live music, which the musician played and sang beautifully! The food was spectacular. The pulled pork practically melted in your mouth. The brisket was so juicy and tender. They also had a variety of sauces which were all very nice to try, but the sweet and smoky was my favorite. They also have a nice selection of drinks, cocktails, wines, and beers. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner out or even a stop by at the bar. We will be coming again! ”
“ I had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious . Coleslaw was fresh and crunchy. Great lunch spot, Brisket sandwich, coleslaw and a side of fries with a coke was 30bucks. ”
“ I finally made my way to Smoke Daddy in Wicker Park and let me just say, they’re not playin’ when it comes to BBQ. This place has been around since the 90s for a reason, and now I fully understand why. First off, do yourself a favor and ask for the Purple Rain shot. It’s not on the menu, but the staff knows what’s up. Sweet, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. I started with the nachos and wings and honestly, either one could’ve been a full meal. The nachos were LOADED with big, juicy chunks of pulled BBQ chicken....not just a sprinkle, I’m talkin’ generous helpings. And the wings? Perfectly smoked and full of flavor with just the right amount of kick. Then came the taste of the daddy platter, and my jaw literally dropped when it hit the table. An assortment of smoked meats, marinated and cooked to perfection, enough to feed four people easily. Every bite had that rich, smoky flavor you hope for in true BBQ. And the cherry on top? Live music on Friday nights. The vibe was lively, the service was great, and the food was unforgettable. If you’re a BBQ lover or just want to have a good time with great food, Smoke Daddy needs to be on your list! ”
